David Tanenbaum and the San Francisco Conservatory
“Erez Perelman came by the San Francisco Conservatory of Music to show me a guitar… It had a sound and a musicality that I instantly connected with.I am rarely spontaneous about buying instruments, but there was so much music in this one that I knew the guitar needed to stay.
Now it is a cherished part of the San Francisco Conservatory guitar collection.
Thank you, Erez!”

Adam del Monte now playing both Flamenco and Classical Perelman guitars
Adam del Monte visited recently and fell in love with a classical guitar I made, and bought it on the spot. Since then he also started playing on a flamenco blanca that I made and I am making his third guitar now- a flamenco negra!
Here is what Adam said about my guitar: “It is a very rare occurrence when you experience the bond with a guitar that gets you up in the morning and that restores the passion and love for pure physical tactile practice and the joy of playing, as well as the sonic bliss that comes with it. It is a bliss that we as musicians live for and the reason why we do what we do. Such has been my experience with the classical guitar Erez has built. I usually like to custom order my guitars, but in this case all my needs and dreams were met even before I knew some of them existed. Thank you Erez for creating such an inspiring masterpiece of an instrument.”

Erez Perelman Talks at Google
I had the pleasure of being invited to give a talk at Google headquarters about my journey as a guitar maker. I have a PhD in Computer Science and this talk was about the merging of my musical, artistic and engineering talents in becoming a Luthier.
Marcelo Nami and his custom Perelman guitar
Marcelo Nami is a phenomenal Brazilian guitarist and needed a custom cutaway classic guitar for his playing technique. I made him this guitar based on his requirements, and the end result was a beautiful and rich sounding instrument that allowed him easy access to the highest registers.
Maestro Angel Romero now performing with his new Perelman classic
“I am happy to say that the guitar that Erez Perelman built for me is a magical instrument in every regard and a pleasure to play. I was so taken by its sonority and power that I have already used it on my recent concert tour with the Symphony of Spain this last December. It is my emotional and artistic opinion that Erez Perelman ranks amongst the top of the finest luthiers today.” – Angel Romero
New composition from
David Beer
My friend David Beer performing his own Rondeña composition- ‘EMMA’ on a blanca I built for him. David Beer is founder of the Ladrones del Tiempo flamenco band in Switzerland and will soon be playing a second Perelman negra I am building for him.
Maestro Angel Romero performing on a Perelman classical guitar in live concert
It was an honor to meet Angel and hear him perform on a guitar I built. This guitar is my cedar-rosewood classical model.
Maestro Paco de Lucia playing a Perelman flamenco blanca
This meeting was supposed to last only 2 minutes but he loved the guitar and was jamming on it for nearly half an hour. I have a couple clips recorded so you can see and hear the greatest flamenco player playing and commenting on this instrument.

“…For me this was a new phenomenon as far as my experiences go with guitar makers and restorations. At that moment, I felt that I must introduce this younge master…I can see that Erez is well on his way to becoming a well known luthier in the guitar world…” Read More–>

“Perelman is clearly the best (to my ears) for this piece. The Bellido and Ray are a coin-toss, the richness of the former versus the clarity of the latter. The PR junior isn’t even in the same league.” Read More–>
La Sonanta
“The sound and playability of this flamenco guitar is amazing! Beautiful basses and very light, dry, singing trebles. She is certainly one of the best flamenco guitars in our range of guitars. The above video shows el maestro Paco de Lucia and Antonio Sanchez playing on a new blanca guitar of Erez Perelman.” Read More–>

“…This particular has a memorable old-world tone, full of richness and clarity. With a well-shaped neck and easy action, it is a comfortable guitar for any player. Highly recommended as an excellent value for a handmade concert guitar from this promising new maker.” Read More–>

“The guitar has been Erez Perelman’s passion for over half of his life. He picked it up when he was 13 and never put it down. He formally studied both classical and flamenco styles of playing, and has had the opportunity to study with some incredible players such as the Romeros, Christopher Parkening and Paul Galbraith. He spent many years teaching, performing professionally and collaborating with other musicians.” Read More–>
