El Gran Maestro Paco de Lucia trying out my latest instrument. This meeting was supposed to last only 2 minutes but he loved the guitar and was jamming on it for nearly half an hour. I have a couple clips recorded so you can see and hear the greatest flamenco player playing and commenting on this instrument.

Guitar Salon International put on a four guitar comparison for the public. Check out some listeners' comments about this comparison:

    • "The Perelman sound the most convincing here, e.g. closest to my idealized tone/timbre for this selection, followed by Ray, Bellido, and the Romero in very distant 4th place..."
    • "...I agree, the Perelman fit my taste much more. The Bellido came in second, the Ray third, and again, the Romero way behind."
    • "Have to say that the Perelman really stood out for me as well."
    • "Truely allows a nice comparison. I personally prefered the Perelman..."
    • "Perelman is clearly the best (to my ears) for this piece. The Bellido and Ray are a coin-toss, the richness of the former versus the clarity of the latter. The PR junior isn't even in the same league."
    • "Different players have different tastes. These are four very nice guitars, but the Perelman is really outstanding."
